The Californian Duo is back ladies and gentlemen. We have had a loooong hiatus but these two Californian loving people are back. We have taken the dive and gotten our Disneyland passes. Our first experience back at the park was this giant Oogie Boogie treat for the holidays. It was a decoration at the Grand Californian Hotel located in Downtown Disney. If you guys don’t know anything about the hotel, it’s one of the most expensive hotels at Disneyland Resort. A night there costs you a whooping $500 bucks. But it’s a beautiful hotel. After a long day at the park my husband and I decided to go to the hotel and relax on their sofas. Visiting the Grand Californian Hotel is definitely a treat. They have an awesome entrance, it’s cozy and warm. Definitely perfect for the holidays. They have someone playing the piano and carolers and drinks and treats. They also have a store where you can buy Disney goodies. It’s so fun!

This Oogie Boogie display is completely edible. It’s made of 200 pounds of powdered sugar, 40 pounds of egg whites, 180 pounds of rice cereal, 80 pounds of marshmallow, 60 pounds of butter, 80 pounds of dark chocolate, 60 pounds of white chocolate, 100 pounds of fondant. The display is 11 feet by 4 feet. It’s amazing.
