Taco chain in Los Angeles

Ok, so let me begin by saying that authentic Mexican taco chains aren’t really a thing. You have your street corner tacos, your mom and pop shops but that’s pretty much it. Out of nowhere a taco chain has been popping around Los Angeles name Tacos El Gavilan. They serve your authentic soft tortilla tacos. They have your al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, etc. They have a great lay out with serve yourself onion, cilantro, lemons, beans, etc. They’re not stingy with the tacos toppings.

Aside from tacos they also have other traditional foods like tortas, sopes and burritos.

They’re logo is super cool. Its colorful, its cheerful, its inviting. I love it.

Their drinks range from sodas to traditional Mexican aguas frescas. Horchata, tamarindo (tamarind), jamaica (hibiscus) and pineapple.

Need something to keep you warm on these cold rainy L.A days they have champurrado. It’s an awesome warm drink made from masa and chocolate. I love it and get it when I can.

Definitely check them out. You won’t be disappointed. They have locations with drive thrus and are open late!
