The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one to visit. Here you will get to walk through the platform 9 3/4 and then be taken through a magical journey on the Hogwarts Express. It is so much fun! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located within both parks Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure Park in Orlando, Florida. So the catch is that you need to get a park hopper ticket and they are NOT cheap. A park hopper will cost you about $170 bucks. The Hogwarts Express travels between both parks. There’s two rides in Islands of Adventure and there’s one in Universal Studios.

Other than that, traveling between parks was so much fun. But if you want to experience the platform 9 3/4 you need to jump on the Hogwarts Express from Universal Studios. If you jump on the Hogwarts Express from Islands Of Adventure you will not see it. When you ride the Hogwarts Express, you’re seated in a cabin just like in the movie and you get to see a video based on the film on your ride to the next park.

Some of the fun things you can experience on the Universal Studios side of Wizarding World of Harry Potter is their Escape from Gringott’s ride. It is similar to the other Universal Studio rides, where you sit in a row of 4 people and are taken from room to room. It’s a lot of fun! That is the only ride you will find on the Universal Side of the land. They do have a fun interactive area for young wizards to buy a wand, cast their spells and make magic happen. You can also find butterbeer soft serve ice cream here and butter beer.

Now when you jump on the Hogwarts Express and ride off to the Wizarding World on the Islands of Adventure side that’s where you will find Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and also a rollercoaster named Flight of the Hippogriff. The Forbidden Journey is an intense 3D ride that will flip you and twist you left and right. Flight of the Hippogriff is an outdoor coaster, it doesn’t go upside down, just quick twists and turns. Butterbeer is served here also.

You can also find a traditional English meal at the 3 broomsticks at Islands of Adventure or you can also eat on the Universal Studios side at the Leaky Cauldron.
