So I was SUPER excited to try this dessert called schoolbread. It was located in Norway, it is a sweetbread filled with custard and sprinkled with grated coconut. I didn’t know how to really feel about this treat. I wasn’t so jazzed about it when I tried it. Either it’s an acquired taste or it wasn’t served correctly to me. The taste of the bread was like sourdough and it was warm. But the custard was cold, the two tastes together just seemed odd. I didn’t know whether the dessert should of been cold or warm.
