I’m not one to be big on themed restaurants but there is one themed restaurant that I always have to visit. One of my favorite places to visit is the Rainforest Cafe. If you’ve never heard of it, they are spread across the country in touristy places. The first one I ever went to was located in Downtown Disney where Disneyland is. They have a location in Las Vegas, New York, Florida and here in Ontario Mills. They’re pretty much all decorated the same but it’s still fun to visit. They have a great aquarium you can look at while you wait for your table. They also have a souvenir shop that’s decorated with Rainforest animals that are animatronics. It’s a pretty WILD place. It’s just a really refreshing place to be at when the sun is hot as can be. When they call your name to be seated you walk up to a blue elephant and your adventure begins on your Rainforest safari. Inside the restaurant it’s a complete rainforest, with gorillas, giant butterflies, trees, waterfalls and additional aquariums.

They have great food, their breakfast is great as is their dinner. They have from pancakes to salmon. They also have this awesome chocolate dessert they named the Volcano. When they bring it out the workers there literally scream out… “VOLCANO!” . It has lit up sparkly candles on it. It’s super fun for the kids.

It’s a cool place for families to visit.

Unfortunately, the closest Rainforest Cafe that I had is at Downtown Disney and it’s being destroyed to make way for a hotel. I hope that Disney will bring this great restaurant back after their hotel is built. It truly would be awesome if it stays.
