If you live in L.A. and want a short getaway, head South to San Diego. I absolutely love Old Town San Diego. It’s full of shops and restaurants. It’s definitely a place to check out, they even have a park where you can go and relax. You can go into one of the shops and buy a Mexican blanket for like $10 bucks, then you take it and lay in the park and chill. If there’s something else I love to do it’s eat there. They have this cool cafe named Coyote Cafe, they serve Mexican food. The have a patio seating and inside seating. Their staff is friendly and nice. They also have two ladies making tortillas at the entrance, they sell you 2 flour tortillas for 2 bucks I believe with butter. It’s so good! It’s pretty amazing, you can pass by, buy a snack and keep on walking. So I love going to this place and while there I enjoy getting my margarita. They have a wide selection of margarita drinks. I got myself a Frida’s “passion” margarita and my husband got a regular margarita. He isn’t fancy like me. So my margarita apparently had a brand of vodka named Frida. It also has orange, cranberry and pineapple juice. Writing about it is making me want one. So good. I also got myself some enchiladas and a taco, and of course it came with rice and beans. All delicious. Check them out! It’s a cool place to visit while there.
